Several years ago, while visiting the Samuel Jackson, Sr. home in Manassa, Colorado, I was given 22 documents, most of which pertain to Samuel Jackson, Sr. and the Eurydice Mining Company. These documents primarily consist of correspondence from the mining company to Samuel instructing him to bring lumber, flour and other goods to the mine, and to haul ore from the mine to the La Jara train depot to be shipped to Denver. I have transcribed the documents and provided some background on the Eurydice Mining Company. Please let me know if you find any errors or are able to come up with better transcriptions.
