Letters from England: Corresponance from the Seconed Mission of William Jackson
The Letters to England: Correspondence from the Second Mission of William Jackson was complied by Jeanette Hurst (granddaughter). Jeanette’s introduction is an excellent summary of William’s second mission (his first was to the Indian Territory). William served an LDS mission to the British Isles from March, 1909 to April, 1911. William married Mary Georgena Gilbert on March 20, 1901, and they were blessed with four children when William was called to serve.
The Missionary Journal of William Jackson: March 1898 – April 1899 compiled by Jeanette Hurst
The The Missionary Journal of William Jackson: March 1898 – April 1899 compiled by Jeanette Hurst (granddaughter) is a transcription of a journal William kept while serving an LDS mission to the Indian Territory (primarily Texas and Kansas). The introduction is a very well written summary of William’s mission. William is the son of Samuel Jackson and Hanna Marie Jaques and was born on August 21, 1871 in Nephi, Utah. He served two LDS missions. The first to Texas and Kansas from 1898 to 1900. The second to England from 1909 to 1911.
